How we work at the desk
At Oaklandledger we focus on clear agreements: what you want to capture, how much time is realistic and which files you take home. We work with singers, rappers, bands, podcasters and producers from Amsterdam and beyond.
We read every request ourselves. Within 1 working day you hear back with a proposed date, hours and cost. The slot is firm only after you accept and pay the deposit — see our terms and conditions.

Vocal recording
Singing, rap and spoken word in a dry booth with guidance at the console.

Compact studio, roomy live sound
Since 2019, Oaklandledger has been on the ground floor at Bilderdijkstraat 165 in Amsterdam. The 36 m² live room, 7 m² booth and 20 m² control room are separate but visually linked — useful if you want to watch while recording.
Opening hours: Tuesday–Friday 10:00–20:00, Saturday 10:00–18:00. Closed Monday and Sunday. By appointment only. More about the team and rooms on about us; directions on contact.

How do I reserve studio time?
Send a message via contact. Within 1 working day you receive a proposal and written quote. After acceptance and a 30 % deposit your session is confirmed.
Do your prices include VAT?
Yes. All amounts on the site include 21 % VAT. On services you also see net amounts.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
More than 7 days ahead is free. Between 7 days and 48 hours before start we apply the terms.
Which files do I receive?
Usually 24-bit WAV at project sample rate (default 96 kHz). Download link or transfer by agreement; we keep sessions 12 months.
Is there parking?
On-street parking nearby; public transport is often quicker: Tram 3 and 12 stop Bilderdijkstraat (2 minutes' walk). Bus 15 stop Bilderdijkstraat. From Amsterdam Centraal about 15 minutes on tram 3 towards Muiderpoortstation.
