Oaklandledger B.V. runs a recording studio in Amsterdam under the brand Oaklandledger. The premises have 3 rooms: a live room of 36 m², a vocal booth of 7 m² and a control room of 20 m². We have worked by appointment since 2019. Hours: Tuesday–Friday 10:00–20:00, Saturday 10:00–18:00. Closed Monday and Sunday. By appointment only.

These particulars appear here because article 3:15d of the Dutch Civil Code requires a provider of information-society services to identify itself, and because article 2:246 of that Code requires a B.V. to state its name, legal form and seat. Visiting the site or sending the contact form does not create a contract. How a booking is formed is set out in the terms and conditions.

2. Registrations and identifiers

The company is entered in the Commercial Register of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel). We put the registration number on letters, quotes, invoices and this site, as the Dutch Commercial Register Act 2007 requires.

4. Management

The sole director of Oaklandledger B.V. is Sanne de Vries. She is also the owner and is responsible for studio sound. She is the contact for publications on this website.

Recording days are run by the team named on the about page. Only the company is bound by a contract, not staff members in person, except where the law says otherwise (intent or deliberate recklessness).

5. Hosting

TransIP B.V. keeps technical connection logs (IP address, time, page requested, user-agent) for security and incident analysis. Those logs stay in the European Union. What we do with them is described in the privacy policy.

6. Contact form and transfer to the United States

The form on the contact page is processed by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a provider in the United States. Your message — name, e-mail, telephone if you give it, requested service, preferred date and the project text — goes first to FormSubmit and then to [email protected].

That is a transfer to a country without a general adequacy decision covering every processor. We rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR) where FormSubmit uses them, and otherwise on the derogation in Article 49(1)(b) GDPR: the transfer is needed to answer your request for a quote. FormSubmit acts as our processor; the arrangements are in the data processing agreement.

If you prefer to avoid this transfer, write straight to [email protected] or call 020 261 4890. We handle that message in the same way. Retention and your rights: privacy policy and cookie policy. We keep your cookie choice for 182 days under the key okln_consent_v1. You can change that choice.

7. Use of the website

The site is there to present the studio, the services, rates, the guides and the FAQ, and to let you send a request. There is no account, no basket and no online payment. A contract is formed only after a written confirmation on both sides, as article 4 of the terms explains.

We aim to keep the site usable with assistive tools. How we do that, and what is still open, is in the accessibility statement. Maintenance, a host outage or a security measure may interrupt the site. That does not give rise to damages, except for intent or gross negligence. Limits on the content itself are in the disclaimer.

8. Intellectual property in the site

The texts, layout, code, the Oaklandledger name and the images on oaklandledger.click belong to Oaklandledger B.V. or to a licensor, and are protected by the Dutch Copyright Act. Copying, circulating or adapting them beyond what the Act allows (including quotation) needs prior written consent.

We object to text and data mining of this site, including for training artificial-intelligence systems. That reservation is machine-readable in /.well-known/tdmrep.json.

Photographs on the site are in part illustrative and generated with AI. They do not show real clients or sessions. Fonts are served from our own domain; the licences sit in the /fonts/ folder.
