In brief

  • The site explains how Oaklandledger in Amsterdam works; it is not legal advice and not a quote.
  • Prices including 21 % VAT may change until you accept a quote.
  • We do not promise a given artistic result. The contract is in the terms and conditions.
  • Dutch is the authoritative language. Questions: get in touch.

1. Purpose of this page

This disclaimer belongs to the website oaklandledger.click of Oaklandledger B.V., trading as Oaklandledger, Bilderdijkstraat 165, 1053 KV Amsterdam. It limits what you may take from the public texts, tables and images. It does not replace the terms and conditions, the legal notice or the privacy policy.

Version of 1 October 2026, last check 1 October 2026. If language versions differ, Dutch prevails.

2. What the website says

The pages describe the studio, the services, the guides and the FAQ. We keep the texts current, but they can lag behind a freshly changed quote, a failed piece of gear or a full diary. A form message is a question, not a booking. How a contract is formed is in article 4 of the terms.

Nothing on the site is advice on copyright, neighbouring rights, collective-management organisations, tax status or residence. For those topics you instruct your own adviser. Pieces such as vocal warm-up or loudness for streaming are practical notes, not a promise that your session will sound the same.

3. Rates and diary

Amounts on the site are guide prices in euros, including VAT at 21 %. Examples: Vocal recording from €95 per hour, Band recording from €125 per hour, Mixing from €195 per track, Mastering from €70 per track, Podcast & voice-over from €88 per hour. The binding price is the one on the quote you accept, as article 6 says.

Hours: Tuesday–Friday 10:00–20:00, Saturday 10:00–18:00. Closed Monday and Sunday. By appointment only. A preferred date on the form is a wish, not a reservation. The slot is yours only after confirmation and the 30 % deposit; see article 7.

4. Artistic outcome

Recording, mixing and mastering are craft and taste. We work with 3 rooms, 16 microphone preamps and at most 5 players in the live room, at up to 96 kHz. That describes the technical frame, not how a song is received.

We do not promise streams, a playlist slot, radio play or a given loudness figure on every platform. Revisions for Mixing and Mastering follow article 13 (2 rounds). After that, extra work is a new job.

5. Links to other sites

The site may point to third-party sites, for example the host TransIP B.V. (transip.eu) or a map. Those sites have their own terms and their own privacy rules. We are not responsible for their content or their processing, except where the law forces that on us.

The contact form goes through FormSubmit in the United States. If you do not want that route, use [email protected] or 020 261 4890. The explanation is in the legal notice.

6. Limit of liability

For loss that follows from mere use of the website — a short outage, an outdated rate on a page, a dead link — we are liable only for intent or gross negligence, or where the law forbids that limit toward a consumer. Maintenance, an incident at TransIP B.V. or a security measure may interrupt the site.

Liability under a concluded job follows article 15 of the terms, not this disclaimer. This page does not cut down a statutory right a consumer cannot contract away.

7. Images, brand and likeness

Texts, code, the Oaklandledger name and the images on oaklandledger.click sit with Oaklandledger B.V. or a licensor; see the legal notice. Photographs are in part illustrative and generated with AI; they do not show real clients. You may not reuse them as if they were your session.

We do not publish a clip of your recording or a likeness from a session without your written consent. Your works stay yours, as article 14 describes.

8. Privacy, cookies and accessibility

Who sees which data, for how long, and which rights you have, is in the privacy policy and the data processing agreement. What the browser stores is in the cookie policy. We keep your choice for 182 days under okln_consent_v1; you can .

How we keep the site usable with assistive tools is in the accessibility statement. Report a barrier via contact.

9. Contact and law

Dutch law applies to this disclaimer. A dispute about the site itself may go to the competent court in Amsterdam, without prejudice to mandatory rules for consumers. We are not affiliated with a dispute committee; that is also in article 18 of the terms.
