Three treated rooms on the ground floor — since 2019 a steady address for recording in Amsterdam West.
A studio built to see each other
Oaklandledger is laid out for playing together while listening properly. The live room fits up to 5 musicians; the booth stays dry enough for rap and spoken word, while vocalists keep eye contact with the control room through the glass.
We schedule sessions in-house: Sanne de Vries runs the studio, supported by recording engineer Maarten Jansen and scheduling by Lotte Bakker. Whoever writes your quote usually also chooses the microphones.

Live room — 36 m²
Wood floor, diffusion and absorption on brick; drums, guitars and bass can play at once.
Booth — 7 m²
Compact vocal booth for singing, voice-over and dubbing.
Control room — 20 m²
Symmetrical monitoring, 16 mic inputs and conversion up to 96 kHz.
What to expect
We say honestly when a half or full day makes sense. Mix and master work runs in revision rounds: typically up to 2 feedback rounds per project, fixed in your quote. Send reference tracks if you are unsure about scope.

Getting here
Bilderdijkstraat 165, 1053 KV Amsterdam (West district). Tram 3 and 12 stop Bilderdijkstraat (2 minutes' walk). Bus 15 stop Bilderdijkstraat. From Amsterdam Centraal about 15 minutes on tram 3 towards Muiderpoortstation. The entrance is at street level; floors inside are mostly level. Hours: Tue–Fri 10–20, Sat 10–18, by appointment only.
